At Early Explorers, we recognize that the Pre-K year is a pivotal time in a child’s educational journey. Our program is designed to build upon the skills and knowledge acquired in earlier years, preparing children for the challenges and opportunities of kindergarten and beyond.

Development/ Emergent Literacy

Associating sounds with written words, identifying at least 10 letters of the alphabet, and writing names and familiar words

Mathematics

Matching, sorting, and regrouping items, making comparisons between objects, and understanding spatial concepts.

Learning About the World/Science

Participating in investigations, predicting results, and recording observations.

Social Emotional Development 

Expressing confidence, compromising with peers, and understanding community roles.

Approach to learning 

Demonstrating eagerness to learn, maintaining focus, and developing problem-solving abilities.

Physical Health and Development 

– Throws, catches and bounces balls
– Growing independence in personal hygiene
– Uses pencils, markers and paintbrushes with increased control
